I believe the US Navy's new recruiting campaign's motto' is removing troops from the front line. Let's maybe prey that can be the case in Iraq. I'm a big fan of the Sea Launched Eagle Eye 2. A sea based UAV which has gone into use for the US Coast Guard Service.
