I'm concerned, maybe even paranoid, about my personal data and where it seems to be finding itself. Today it lives in the databases of banks, credit card companies and the government in it\'s most detailed and intimate form. It lives in the databases of retailers, airlines and insurance companies as the gold which they mine daily. And it lives in the databases of online service providers.

The benefits I gain are the use, customization and discounting on their products and services. And that is the price that I now pay to partake in the conveniences of living today.

What is the logical conclusion of this gradual online striptease I am in? Will I be totally naked and exposed to the commercial elements? Or can I take a stand and protect my online persona? I'm trying here: http://www.realtea.net.
