The website for NYU’s Council for Media & Culture, who co-sponsored our “Identity and Identification in a Networked World” symposium, has launched:

The Council for Media and Culture provides a forum for scholarly and public ventures that probe the form and content of human communication in mediated environments.

We serve as a focal point for the array of scholars and students from across New York University who explore the fields of media and culture.

The Council promotes interdisciplinary research, innovation in teaching and global dialogue involving academics, students, professionals and the public at large.

The Council is a joint project bringing together various departments and programs across NYU, including Culture & Communication, Journalism, Cinema Studies, Information Law Institute, and more.
