That horrid Google…On the prowl!
In 1913, Vincent Cartwright Vickers wrote The Google Book, a children’s book full of fanciful birds, including one called a “google”:
The sun is setting –
Can’t you hear
A something in the distance
Howl!!?I wonder if it is –
Yes!! it is
That horrid Google
On the prowl!!!
Seems Google has been “on the prowl” for close to a century!
